What music did I listen to this week?:

I listened to a lot of happy music this week because I love it here in Edinburgh! The Fontaines DC are a really cool Irish band I like to listen to. I went see the Scottish Symphony Orchestra, which was a really cool way to be connected to Scottish culture. At the concert, there was even the children's choir that joined, and that was my favorite part. I have also listened to Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber this week. What is your favorite song ever?

What activity was the most fun this week?:

The most fun I had this week was probably going to visit the statue of Greyfriars Bobby in Edinburgh! Petting and rubbing his statue's nose is supposed to give you good luck. Bobby was a little Skye terrier who became famous for staying near his owner for 14 years after he passed away. This is my favorite piece of Scottish history I have learned so far. I loved learning about this little dog, and it reminded me of my little Winnie, who is also a loyal terrier whom I love and miss so much. I love Greyfriars Bobby so much that I bought a keychain and a poster to put in my room here.

What did I read this week?:

This week, I read a book about Greyfriars Bobby, the famous Scottish dog who became known for his loyalty (and cuteness). I also read lots of philosophy readings for my classes! My favorite was reading about what it means to create good art. It made me think about what makes a painting, song or story beautiful. I love how I can be curious and look at the world in different ways.
