I stayed local in Chengdu this week. I really haven't had the chance to explore Chengdu since I've been here, so when my friend decided to visit, I was more than happy to explore the city with him. There's much to see here and much to taste. I've knocked a few things off my to-do list here in Chengdu, but I still must visit a Sichuan Opera.
So far, on my journey through China, I've visited three major cities - Chengdu, Chongqing, and Xi'an. Perhaps next, I want to visit the Yunan Province, which is famous for its natural scenery, including rice fields and mountains. After midterms though!
China has its own Uber. The best part is that it is much less expensive than Uber in the US and it is so convenient to get you from one place to the next. It's also less expensive than the regular taxis here in China, and there are constantly deals and promotions. The best part is that I don't have to carry money with me. All I have to do is link up my bank card and pay through that.
