These blogs have been one way of sharing small but significant parts of my experiences while living and teaching here in Indonesia. Although this is my last post with Reach the World (RTW), I will continue to live in Indonesia for another five months and learn a lot more. I hope that this has been a good experience for you and that you have enjoyed hearing about and seeing some of the different things that I have been able to do, see and try.

Before I go, I want to share some information about the program that I am in, which is why I get to live and serve in Indonesia. I am here through an exchange program managed by the U.S. and Indonesian governments, called Fulbright, which Americans and Indonesians can apply for after college. There are different programs under the Fulbright umbrella, like studying at universities or doing research, and there are Fullbright programs in countries all around the world.

Like these RTW blogs, the Fulbright programs exist to help build understanding between people from around the world by exchanging cultural ambassadors, who serve in their host communities in different ways.
