The weather was the usual hot and humid, with occasional, and sometimes heavy, rain that would last for between 10-30 minutes. If I went on a short walk during the day, I would come home soaked in sweat (which I have done). The clouds and smog almost always dull or block out the blueness of the sky and dim the sun with their greys and whites, but it can be pretty sunny too, even through the clouds.
I did not get pictures of them, but when I went cycling a couple of weekends ago, I saw some monkeys along the road, near the forest. I have also seen various birds, small lizards and many street chickens, street cats as well as some street dogs.
I have not been outside much so far during my time here, and there are not really parks in my city like we might think of in the U.S., but I did get to see many trees and fruits while I traveled through the city and nearby villages.
