This week in Ghana, the weather has been consistently warm, with temperatures hovering in the 80s Fahrenheit. As the week progressed, the peak of the day saw a rise to a balmy 90 degrees. The sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for a myriad of outdoor adventures.
I saw horses at the Coconut Resort Beach and a variety of birds.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of my week was viewing the Black Star Arena also known as Independence Square which is a site where major military and civic parades happen in celebration of Accra being the capital. As you can see, the beach is right behind the big structure!
Venturing into the heart of nature, I visited a mesmerizing waterfall. I felt the cool mist on my face as the water cascaded down.
