From my experience, the weather in South Korea is very comparable to the weather in Kentucky, experiencing spring, summer, fall, and winter. However, if you're used to Kentucky weather, Seoul may feel a bit harsher in winter, more humid in summer, and rainier during the monsoon months.
So far, the weather here in South Korea has been all over the place! One day, it feels like winter, and the next, it's warm and sunny—it's like the weather can't make up its mind. On Tuesday, March 16th, it was freezing! The high was only 43°F (6°C), and snowed 3.5 inches (8.9 cm). But then, just a few days later, on Saturday, March 22nd, it was 66°F (19°C) and felt like spring! I was so happy to feel the sun finally. But guess what? The temperatures are supposed to drop again this weekend! It's like a prank from nature—just when you think winter is gone, it sneaks back in!
