Rabria's Journey to Zambia

Current Location

Lusaka, Zambia

Hi! My name is Rabria, and this year I am working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Evelyn Hone College in Lusaka, Zambia. What is it like to live and work in Zambia? Let's find out!

This week, I had the chance to travel to Dakar, Senegal for a seminar with my fellow Fulbrighters. I really enjoyed Senegal and getting to know more about the country and its history.

Our time together has unfortunately come to an end. Before I go, I'd like to share my recent adventures with you all. I encourage you to take any chance you have to travel and see the world!

Field Notes

The food I have eaten in Zambia is similar to the food I eat in America. Nshima (Nuh-sea-ma) is one of the main dishes in Zambia. I tried it and did not enjoy it at first, but now I like it!

This album is a combination of food and nature in Africa. Remember, Africa is a continent. The photos in this album come from three countries I have visited, Ghana, Zambia and Tanzania.
