Rabria’s Farewell

When we began this journey, I told you all that I love going home just as much as I love visiting new places. I think I have had enough international travel for now. I have been living in Zambia for about eight months. I will be moving back to the States next month. It is bittersweet because I will miss the family I have made here in Zambia. However, I am very excited to be back with my American family full time. I am also looking forward to having some home cooked meals made by my family. Living abroad this long has truly made me miss American food. I will stay home in Mississippi for the summer. In the fall, I will be moving to Cambridge and going back to school to get my Masters in Education Policy. I still plan to work with schools and students, so maybe we will meet each other someday.

It has been such a pleasure taking you all on this journey to Zambia and other places with me. I hope you learned more about different countries and cities, and I hope you decide to travel one day. If you have the opportunity to visit the African continent, take it! There are so many phenomenal countries here with some of the friendliest people I have ever met and some of the most beautiful natural views you will ever see. Whatever place you dream of visiting, I hope you make it there one day. When you do, find me and tell me all about it!
