The weather in Bucaramanga is pretty consistent throughout the whole year. This week, we had the rainiest day we have experienced since I got here (since July!). I saw people wearing jackets for the first time. It is always sunny and warm, so most people never wear jackets. But right now as I type this, the sun is bright and there are no clouds which is normal!
This week I saw a lot of different dogs! Many people here have dogs as pets (the people I live with have two dogs and two cats!). There are also stray dogs that wander around. They are nice and calm and do not normally interact with anyone; they just walk, sleep and look for food.
This week in nature I visited a natural lagoon called Represa de Topocoro. It is about an hour and a half from Bucaramanga-it was windy there and is within the mountains. The water was a beautiful light blue-green. I had never seen anything like it in my life!
