I would say that taking modes of public transportation such as buses, largely help the environemnt in Costa Rica. The country has had a long-standing reputation as being an environmentally-conscious country. Costa Rica is famous for its ecotourism, national parks and protected reserves. The members of this culture make continual efforts toward sustainable and Earth-friendly practices throughout their country.
