¡Hola! Hello! My name is Rachel and I grew up in the surf town in Encinitas, California. I enjoy reading, dancing, surfing, hiking, and swimming in the ocean. I go to college at San Diego State University, which is not far from my hometown.
This past spring, I chose to live and study abroad in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a small country in Central America. I chose Costa Rica because I wanted to improve my Spanish speaking skills. I study international business with an emphasis in Spanish and Latin America, so what better way to practice my Spanish skills than by taking business classes only taught in Spanish! I lived and studied in Cartago, one of the major cities in Costa Rica. Costa Rica is a beautiful country filled with many natural landscapes and wonderful people. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you!
