March marks the transition for Taipei to warmer and more humid weather. During the month of February, I could always dress in style with long sleeves as the temperature would range between 50 to 75 degrees. Nowadays, I wear short sleeves that I can still sweat through when I'm outside. It almost feels like Houston in this regard! However, despite the increase in temperature, many Taiwanese still wear long sleeves, especially jackets. This may be because the risk of sunburn becomes greater. Regardless, I might have to pack an extra shirt to change into throughout the day, as it will only get warmer.
Taipei is incredibly urbanized, and the parks nearby don't tend to have wild animals. Instead, pet cats and dogs are everywhere, particularly the small, white and fluffy breeds. Sometimes, I'll see the most gigantic dog breed, such as a mastiff or a husky, that catches the eye of everyone passing it on the street.
