Life in the UK- An Interview

Introduction:

During this last half-term at the University of Exeter, I have met many interesting people both from the U.K. and from other countries. The easiest way to meet other university students is to join one of the many societies on campus. I am a member of the Biology Society, Expedition Society and Evangelical Student Union. Through these societies, I am able to go to socials and events with people that share some of the same interests with me. In this post, I am going to interview a second year Exeter student that I met through the Evangelical Student Union.

What is your full name?:

My name is Emily Rose Thompson.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

"During term time, I share a house in Exeter with some of my friends. I grew up in Dent (a small village) in a cute cottage."

"How many people are living in your house?"

"There are eight of us sharing - six girls and two boys. We are all second years at Exeter. Four of us were in a flat together in Birks-Grange (one of the undergraduate student accommodations) last year and decided to live together again this year."

What is your family like?:

"I grew up with my mum, dad and younger brother. We are pretty close, and I am going to visit them next weekend. My dad's parents also live in town, and we eat Sunday roast together every week."
