My time in South Korea has been so incredibly fun. I have done so much more in the last few months than I think I have ever done in the last 8 years. It is a crazy thought that I have done so much in such a short time. Thankfully, I managed to complete my summer classes. The last six weeks of class has been filled with so many memories - both good and bad. I can honestly say that the experience of living in South Korea has helped me grow to be a more independent person. I have yet to fly home. I do not leave Seoul for another week. All of my friends that I have made in my study abroad program have gone home, though.
Now that my friends have gone home, I realize just home much time I actually spent with them. I have spent the most time with two specific people while here. Their names are Jenny and Tiarra. Jenny's family is from Korea so she can speak Korean fluently. She usually acts as our translator while Tiarra and I navigate our way through the city. Since we all lived in the dormitory on campus, we saw each other quite often. We also became rather close with one of the people in charge of the dormitory. His name is Mr. Kim. He talked to us almost everyday and we even have a group chat now that everyone has gone home.
