Although it is currently monsoon or rainy season, the weather this week has been pretty good. We've have had temperatures of about 90 degrees with a few light showers throughout the week.
During my weekend vacation in Krabi, Thailand, I had the opportunity to see a baby Komodo dragon as well as a family of monkeys. During my time snorkeling, I had the chance to see a pack of sharks as well as some beautiful fish!
I had the chance to see the Komodo Dragon on Reley Island which is only an 8-minute boat ride from Krabi. The lizard was in the middle of a pathway eating what looked like rocks on the ground. Having the opportunity to see such an exotic animal was exciting and a bit scary. My group and I did not feel comfortable walking past the animal until we watch a few locals casually walk pass without any confrontation the lizard.
I had the chance to see the monkeys not only in the trees but also walking along the beach. These animals are extremely smart and interesting.
