Just like in Colombia, in Argentina, people speak Spanish. That said, they have quite the accent. Any "y" sound is pronounced as a "sh" sound, which was really confusing to me!
Argentina has its own currency, called the Argentine peso. Since Colombia also uses pesos, it was a bit confusing, since they have very different value. Thankfully, the American dollar was still stronger, so I was able to buy more with my money.
A bottle of water costs about 50 U.S. cents. I was thrilled that the tap water is drinkable (unlike many places around the world), so I just filled up my big purple metal water bottle wherever we went.
The best meals we had were parrillas. Since Argentina is famous for its meat, we ate lots of parrillas, or barbeque. There were even some meats that I had never tried before! Qué rico!
