Greetings From Arnau: The 10-Year-Old From Spain!

One of my favorite foods is called La Bomba, it's a popular tapa in Barcelona made of mashed potato balls stuffed with a seasoned ground meat. Then, it's breaded, deep-fried and served with a spicy sauce!

What language do you speak at school? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

We speak Catalan, Spanish and English. To say hello, just say: Hola! 

What are some common kids' names at your school?:

Miguel, Eulalia, Arnau and Oriol. Some Nicknames go like this: We call Miguel: Micu. My nickname is Domingo. Oriol is called Unicornio (that's unicorn in Spanish). Some others are Oquitar, Ginins and Marinins.

What subjects do you study in school, and which one is your favorite?:

In school, we study Catalan, English, Spanish, Medi (science), Math, Religion and Art. My favorite subject is Catalan.

What is your homework like?:

Just like in school's in America, we usually have to do fill-in-the-blank homework by bringing a worksheet home!

What do you like to do after school? Do you have a favorite sport or game?:

I like athletics and going to the park. My favorite part of athletics is throwing the javelin like they do in the Olympics!

Who is your favorite famous person?:

I have two favorites: the creator of Demon Slayer and Michael Jackson!

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

I like Catalan Rock and Kpop.
