I travel to and from school every day at 7:30 a.m.! It is about one mile to get there and come back. That means, I walk 10 miles every week just for school! I walk a lot more, too, if I need to go somewhere -- like, to play with my friends -- but I don't know how far those extra walks are.
Monsterrat was about 2 hours away, which is 34 kilometers in European mesaurements. That converts to around 21 miles in U.S metrics!
I got around by metro and by bus. I like riding both.
An interestng place I visited would have to be the small town right under Monsterratt. We decided to walk there after our tour of the church and mountains. It was so quiet and small that nobody occupied the roads. We ended up coming across a small café where we ordered fries, but the area was just so different from the city of Barcelona.
Here in Barcelona there was something recently called the Barcelona Drawing Festival. People of all ages could come to celebrate drawing in all its forms. It was free and open to everyone. Barcelona always has events and festivals such as this one!
