What main languages are spoken here?:

Most people in this area are bilingual, meaning they speak multiple languages. The two main ones spoken are Catalan and Spanish.

Imagine the whole country of Spain is a giant pizza. Catalonia is one of the most famous slices, in the top corner near the Mediterranean Sea. Just like the whole pizza is called "pizza", all the land is called "Spain". BUT, Catalonia is a special area with its own local government, unique traditions and, most importantly, its own special language, which is Catalan.

Other than that, a lot of people also speak English. I've been able to navigate this city very well being from America.

What type of money is used here?:

The euro (€) is used here. One Euro equals $1.16 USD.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water, which in Spanish is una botella de agua (remember the tip about the double "ll" sound in Spanish?) They can range from €0.40 to €4.00, depending on where you are in the city.

What was the best meal this week?:

Hot dogs/sausage resturaunts are something very popular here! They are called Frankfurt, whatever location of the city their located, and all the resturaunts are different. This week, I got barbecue wings and french fries. It was nice having some American-like food and it was fried very well.
