The Excitement of Traveling in Spain!

For example, when I leave home, I usually get on the L5 route at my station called Entença. The L5 doesn’t always go straight to my school, so after three stops, I switch to the L3 to get off right in front of my school.

While rushing onto the train, like most people do in the morning, I see so many different faces and outfits! On the metro, someone might be wearing orange polka-dot pants and a striped blue shirt with confidence! Most people dress in business clothes, some are travelers with suitcases heading to a taxi or the airport, others are going to the gym, taking their children to school or going to school themselves.

How do people get around?:

People get around so many different ways here, whether it's by, Caminando (Walking), Tren (Train/Metro), Motocicleta (Motorcycle), Bicicleta (Bicycle), Auto (Car) or Autobús (Bus).

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

Sometimes the buses and metros are very crowded, other times they are relaxed and there’s barely anyone. However, there’s always someone, so you’re never alone. When it’s crowded, it can be overwhelming, but you have to realize everyone else feels the same way, so we’re all in this together! We’re all uncomfortable! A lot of people distract themselves by talking to one another, reading a book, playing around or listening to their own music.

I prefer taking the bus after school because I’m in no rush. I can sit and read, there are about twelve stops from my school to get home.
