Howdy, all! My name is Ruby Zenteno, and I'm very excited to walk this path with you as we explore the many precious, cool and vibrant things Taiwan has to offer! But first, I would like to introduce myself! I was born in San Bernardino, California and moved to San Antonio, Texas when I was 10 years old, so I've been traveling quite a bit since I was little.
My family is from Mexico City, Mexico, so I've also been very lucky to grow up eating lots of delicious food and speaking Spanish with all my loved ones. This is one big reason I like to explore the bigger world out there -- I have special memories of connecting with people over food and happy times!
I graduated from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, U.K. in 2018 with a Master's in Applied Translation (I know a good amount in 6 different languages, can you guess which ones?), but now I've decided to go back to school at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei to study International Human Resource Development as a Fulbright grantee! I really enjoy working in jobs that help me get to know and support different communities, and I like learning other languages to help me accomplish this.
