After spending the morning skiing, we took a small cable car all the way up the mountain and saw the most amazing views. The clouds were practically at eye level! I felt it was the highest that I've ever been in my life - definitely not the place to go if you have a fear of heights. I could not believe how wonderful (and windy!) it was, but each lookout point was even better than the previous one!
Traveling as a group of 14 college students can be difficult at times but here are a few things that I learned this past weekend: (1) if you can, do some research and plan ahead so you're better prepared and can spend your time doing what you really want to do, (2) make sure you factor in downtime - doing everything on all the "must-see" lists sounds like fun at first but can get really tiring and far less enjoyable very quickly, and (3) spend time with people and focus on making genuine connections and memories!
