The farthest I made it this week was to the fair, around four miles away from my hostel.
I have traveled over 6,000 miles. After my mom left I headed back to Amritsar for the weekend to visit my friends. The train ride home back to Dehradun took twelve hours!
I took an Ola with my roommates to get to KFC, and on the way home, we took an auto. The auto was 50 rupees cheaper because we could bargain with the auto driver, but Ola rides have a fixed price.
I found out that I didn't have to go far to discover something new this week. On Sunday, I walked around the neighborhood behind my hostel and many of the houses looked different and were painted different colors than the houses on my block.
