This week I have spent time in Dehradun, Delhi and Udaipur. In all three cities, the weather has been hot. The sky was in between a gray and blue color because there are a lot of air pollutants in Delhi.
On Sunday, my mom and I were eating breakfast on the rooftop at our hotel in Udaipur and a bug I've never seen before landed on our table. It looked like a mixture between a fly and a butterfly. I've been trying to find the name of this insect but haven't had any luck yet. Maybe one of you can figure it out?
The hills of Udaipur reminded me of my home. I love to hike in the U.S., so being surrounded by the lush Aravalli hills was special for me. It is said that Maharana (King) Udai Singh was hunting in these hills in the mid-1500s when he met a sage who advised him to build his kingdom in between these hills.
