






In Rajasthan there is a local language, Rajasthani. Hindi and English are also common, as well as Marwari and Gujarati. I met three people today who each speak five languages fluently. They inspired me to be a life-long language learner!

The night before my mom and I left Dehradun to travel to Rajasthan, we had dinner with all of my hostel friends. We ordered dinner family style and shared incredible chicken dishes. Mughlai Chicken was my favorite. It's made with cashews, ginger, onion, chilies and a variety of spices including cinnamon and turmeric.
