This week I traveled over 875 kilometers, which is about 545 miles. That's just a little less than the distance between New York City and Cincinnati, Ohio!
I have now traveled more than 2,000 miles since coming to Europe. That's like driving from New York to Mexico City!
This week, I took a road trip with a few of my friends, so most of my traveling was done in a car. German highways, called the Autobahn, are so much fun to drive on. There's no official speed limit, so, as long as you're safe, you can go as fast as you want!
Our road trip destination was Amsterdam, which was easily the most interesting place I visited this week. Amsterdam is the capital city of the Netherlands, which is a country bordering Germany on its northwest border. Most people in the Netherlands speak Dutch, a language which is very similar to written German but very different from spoken German!
