My Daily Life in Chetumal

Here are some images from my daily life in Chetumal. Living here, I mainly teach at the UQROO, hang out with my friends and learn as much about the local culture as possible!

While I am here to teach English, I have found that I am learning just as much from my students and my friends. In this circle, I was teaching common phrases in English where the verb changes meaning; later, my students taught me those phrases in Spanish!

On the weekends after teaching all week, my friends and I often take day trips, if we are not traveling out of town. We usually go to Bacalar or Huay Pix (local lagoons), but in this photo, we are in Mahahual (a beach town about two hours from Chetumal)
