I was lucky when it came to the weather because it had been raining nonstop for a few days before my trip but was sunny with clear skies while I was in Morocco.
I saw cats everywhere in Morocco. In each city we visited, there were stray cats in the streets and market places. These cats, however, are cared for by the communities in this country. It is like the cats are the neighborhood pets, and people look out for them by feeding them and providing shelter to keep them warm when its cold outside or when its raining.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the view of the Rif mountains above a village I visited on my fourth day in Morocco. For miles and miles, all I could see were beautiful mountains covered with green treetops and clear skies above.
