Schnitzel Meets Blintzes: Culture Bites

Introduction:

I am enjoying the exploration of many different foods from all over the world. I tried spicy injera and doro from Ethiopia and crispy schnitzel and sweet blintzes from the Ashkenazi traditions. Each dish shows how diverse (and tasty!) Israeli culture really is.

What food did I try?:

Falafel are crunchy fried chickpea balls from Middle Eastern culture, often eaten with creamy hummus, a popular chickpea dip. Crispy schnitzel and soft challah bread both come from the Ashkenazi Jews of Europe, along with tangy pickle soup. Together these dishes celebrate Israel’s diverse and delicious food heritage.

How did I feel when I tried it?:

Trying all these foods felt like a cozy adventure for my taste buds! The flavors were warm and comforting, and I could tell the meals were healthy and filling.
