During the week, I went to a conference for work which took place in a distant monastery, in a town called Schöntal. It was 70 miles away and a two hour bus ride. Over the weekend, I went to the Black Forest in a city called Baden-Baden, which is 50 miles south of Heidelberg. It took 1.5 hours to get there by train.
From my home in New Jersey to Heidelberg, I have traveled almost 4,000 miles!
I walked and took a bus to work, and rode my bike to a friend's house. To travel to other cities, I took a train.
I really liked Baden-Baden! It had a lot nature and art museums. I walked through a botanical garden with a lot of flowers.
Springtime is when tourists and local start to travel. It is so exciting to see people from different places, coming to visit Heidelberg. The city is very lively and full of happy people.
