As for Chinh's home, she said, "my house is quite big with a living room, a kitchen, three bathrooms and some bedrooms, but no garden." Chinh has plenty of space to invite friends over or to study in a quiet place. From the top floor, you can see an amazing view of Lang Song city.
Chinh often talks about her family. Once she even brought me to a restaurant that her family often goes to together. It makes me happy to know that Chinh has a loving home with a lot of support. Her home is very close to the college. This means that she does not stay in a college dorm. Instead, she lives at home. She told me that her "family is a close family", and that her family "usually makes a lot of noise." To me, that just means that they have a lot of fun together.
Like many people in Vietnam, Chinh rides a motorbike. I have been a passenger on her motorbike. She is a very safe driver, and she always makes sure to remind me to wear a helmet.
Being a college student means that you are always on the go. I remember when I was in college, I always picked comfort over style. Chinh agrees with me. She said that she "likes to wear comfortable clothes" like "t-shirts and pants." Wearing comfortable clothes also makes the cold weather a little bit easier to deal with.
