In Germany, German is spoken. In France, French is spoken. In Finland, Finnish is spoken.
Because Germany, France and Finland are in the European Union, they have elected to use the Euro (remember, not all of the member countries in the EU use the Euro). It made it really easy for me to move from country to country.
Hamburg: 1,50 EUR ($1.72)
Paris: 2,50 EUR ($2.87)
Jyväskylä: 2 EUR ($2.29)
The best meal I had was in Paris, but it wasn't French food! Eero and I went to a district of the city called Belleville and had pizza. It was so delicious but quite expensive. We each paid 14-15 Euros for each of our pizzas. Paris is one of the most expensive cities in the world, even when you get out of the tourist areas.
This week, I listened mostly to podcasts during my flights. Two good podcasts I listened to are called "Pod Save the World" and "Pod Save America." They cover American and world politics.
