Faf is a friend of mine whom I met through another girl that studied abroad in Montpellier, France last year. She is one of the most unique people I have met and has plenty of stories to tell.
Farah Elaoufi Wiberg, or as she calls herself, Faf, was born in Marseille, France and lived in Guadolpe in the Caribbean where her mother is from, for seven years. Her name is Algerian, but because it is so long and difficult for many people to say, she uses the nickname "Faf."
In an appartment in the centre of Montpellier lies Faf's apartment. Nearby is a convience store open 24/7 and a great place to buy kebabs. These places are what Faf says save her on late night nights out. She lives by herself, but is close to her friends and to plenty of the things she likes to do in the city.
Faf no longer lives with her parents, but her mom is close by, still in Montpellier. Because Faf spends a lot of her time travelling and speaking English, her mom often jokes that when she sees her daughter, Faf, does't know French any more!
