The weather this past week has been amazing! It has been surprisingly warm in both Budapest and Transylvania. Many people have told me that this weather is unusual for October. Every day this past week was sunny and warm!
I saw plenty of animals on the trip to Romania. We were in small farm villages, so we saw plenty of cows, chickens, water buffalo, sheep, and we even got to be driven by horses pulling a fancy horse carriage!
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was a mountain near the village of Torockó (Rimatea in Romanian). The mountain is called Piatra Secuiului.
Along with the mountain in the village of Torockó, Romania was full of rolling hills. These hills create picturesque landscapes that are breathtaking during the fall season.
