Winter has arrived in São Paulo! It is a very mild winter with generally sunny days and a drier climate. Sometimes it gets windy and you need a light jacket to keep exploring.
I was lucky enough to see a moneky this week. Several monekys! I went hiking with friends and one of my friends decided to share a banana with the monkeys in the park.
On our hike I not only got to see monkeys enjoy their prized banana, but also watched vultures hunt for food atop the mountain. These huge birds create massive arcs as they fly around the trails looking for food on the ground.
The trail we hiked goes to the top of Pico do Jaguará (Lord of the Valley Peak) which is the tallest mountain in the city of São Paulo, with a height of 3,723 ft above sea level.
