My hike on Pico do Jaguará was near the northernmost border of São Paulo city. I have not yet officially left the city of São Paulo during my time here!
So far, I have stayed in São Paulo. But I am very excited to visit Belo Horizonte, in the state of Minas Gerais, the week of the 24th. I promise to take a lot of pictures!
This week I used the metro (subway) and buses to get around the city. There is a bus stop in front of my house and I am only two blocks from a metro station so getting to other parts of the city is easy.
I visited a unique event space in my neighborhood called Cartell 011. The building has multiple lounges, bars, an indepedent clothing store, and a large gallery space. I love the creative ways people use buildings here.
