She has lived in Connecticut for the past 30 years but doesn’t like the cold, so every winter she comes to the DR to escape the snow. Since moving to the Dominican Republic, I almost strictly listen to music in Spanish. After watching the superbowl halftime show, I am listening to more Bad Bunny, but I have also been enjoying Rosalia's newest album. However, my current song obsession is Tikiri by Chuwi.

This week I took a dance class while I was in the capital. In the Dominican Republic there are a few really popular styles of dance: merengue, bachata, and salsa. Before I moved to the DR, I didn’t know how to dance at all, but now, a friend has taught me how to dance a little bit of all three dance styles.
