Hola! Como están? (Hello! How are you!) My name is Taylor Stauffer, and I can't wait to share my experiences with you all. I am 21 years old and I come from a small town called Cheshire, Connecticut. I grew up with my parents and two sisters, one of which is my twin! I love going to the beach and surfing in Rhode Island as well as skiing in Vermont. I am also very passionate about running, and plan to run a marathon while I am in Barcelona!
I recently graduated from Boston College where I studied biology and Spanish, and I hope to become a doctor one day. In Barcelona, I will be doing research at a hospital to study Crohn’s disease, a condition that causes parts of the intestine (where we digest our food) to get red and irritated. I will be seeing how this disease is different between adults and kids by doing many experiments. I will teach you much more about this exciting work!
I cannot wait to share this experience and explore Spain with you all. I hope to learn about you as well and answer any questions you have for me. We can learn more together! Vamos! (Let’s go!)
