English is the main language spoken here, but you will also hear different languages as well. I have heard French, Russian, Mandarin and many more languages being spoken here in Exeter.

I went to visit a friend's house this week. We chatted about how America is different from England. We also watched "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives," on the Food Network channel. She asked me if all Americans ate like that in real life. I told her that it depends on what part of America you are in because different people eat different food in different regions of the country.
