The weather in Venice and Rome was absolutely gorgeous! It was a perfect weekend for walking miles in new cities, visiting historical landmarks and marveling at gondolas.
While in Rome the streets were filled with pigeons, similarly to Mannheim. Venice, on the other hand, is surrounded by water, and I got to watch hundreds of minnows swimming near the Basilica.
I saw a lemon tree in the historic part of Rome.
