Transportation in the City

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Bikes, taxis, buses, the Tube and foot travel are all ways of getting around that are connected to culture and the environment. There are millions of people of living in London. It would be difficult to get anywhere if everyone drove their cars. The ways of transportation listed above are all public transportation and make it easy for lots of people to travel all at once. The Tube can fit hundreds of people on the underground railways, and the buses can fit many people, too. I live in a small town back home, and we all drive our cars to work. We don't have buses, taxis, or bikes we can rent. This is because we don't have a lot of people to support the expense of a larger system.

Almost all modes of transportation help keep people out of the weather. England is known for being cold and wet, and it has been about 51 degrees and has rained about three or four days this week. On days when it is nice, warm and sunny, though, it will be great to ride a bike a scooter.
