I didn’t play any sports this week, but I did get to see the local children playing a lot of soccer. It’s their favorite game, and they’re really good at it! What’s even more interesting is that during the high season, when their village is flooded, they switch to playing water polo. The whole area becomes like a giant pool, and the kids have to row from house to house in dugout canoes. It’s amazing how they adapt to the changing environment and still find ways to have fun!
