I stayed in the Chiang Mai area. On the weekdays, I stay near my school. On the weekends, I go to further away areas like downtown or to the nearby mountains to go exploring with my friends!
A few thousand miles!
I walk, ride a bicycle, or ride a Songthaew (like a taxi). I ride my bicycle to school every morning which makes me feel awake and ready for the day!
The temple that I hiked to called Pad Laad Temple. This is a really interesting temple because it is very old with a lot of history. I particularly enjoyed looking at the outside of the temple. It has many fine details and is surrounded by nature.
Chiang Mai is one of the largest cities in Thailand. There are lots of things to see and do there! I loved getting to spend time in Chiang Mai!
