This week I traveled 40 minutes away from my university. It was really nice to see new places and experience a different setting.
So far, I have traveled one hour away from my university, which was to Gangnam. Gangnam is the city from the song Gangnam-Style by PSY. Fun Fact: they have a statue of hands dedicated to the song Gangnam-style by the Coex Mall in Gangnam.
I used the subway most of the time this week because it is the cheapest and fastest way to get around the city. If my destination is less than an hour away, I usually walk there.
The most interesting place that I visited this week was Seoul Forest Park because there were statues and different parks that were connected. I found this place interesting because Korea's definition of a park is somewhat different to that used in the U.S.A. where there is, very often, a playground in the main area.
