I traveled 180km from Nisshin to Nara Japan this week. That is equivalent to about 112 miles.
Nara is the farthest place to which I have travelled while in Japan so far.
Traveling in Japan is really easy. I get to ride buses and trains wherever I need to go. I do walk around a lot as well. Since my school is not close to most train stations, we ride a public bus about three minutes walk from our dorm to the nearest big city. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the train station and from there we can go anywhere in Japan.
Nara Park was the most interesting place I got to visit this week. It has so many beautiful buildings, shrines and statues. The deer were fun to meet and people from all over the world were exploring as well. I saw people from Thailand, Germany, India, Vietnam and so many other places.
