In total, I traveled about 180 miles this week. All of these miles were traveling from CCF farms and quick trips to town to collect some supplies and groceries.
This year, we have traveled just under 1,000 miles in total.
Most of the journeys we take are on pickup trucks. In Namibia, we call a pickup truck a Bakkie.
The town trip to pick up supplies is always exciting! You get to eat some fresh food and bring back some luxuries, like chocolate and fresh bread.
This week was unusual in some ways because we didn't have any flat tires! Punctures are very common here because of the thorns and thorn bushes. Everyone who drives in Namibia needs to know how to replace a tire. There is no help in the African bushes!
