I traveled 4.3 miles to Park Güell, 1.9 miles to the Museum of Contemporary Art and 2.5 miles to the soccer stadium to watch a fútbol (soccer) game.
So far, I have traveled approximately 5,956 miles.
The taxi drivers in Barcelona started a strike this week to protest unfair wages. This means I have only been using the metro and buses. The taxi strike is very inconvenient, especially for people needing to get home at night and for those who don't have bus stops or metro stations near their homes.
This week I visited Parc Güell, an area of landscaped ground, containing scuptures and garden seating in Barcelona. The Parc is home to the Casa del Guarda, a beautiful house built by Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudi over 100 years ago.
