4,338 miles! I traveled from Pennsylvania to Warsaw, Poland this week. I took three separate flights to get here!
4,338 miles! Since I just arrived, I stayed close to my new home. I plan on traveling much more over the upcoming weekends!
I decided to learn how to use the public transportation in Warsaw, including the buses and trams. The trams are a type of cable car that run on tracks through the streets. Both the buses and trams are very cheap to ride. They use the same ticket. You pay for a certain amount of time. It only costs about $1 to ride them for more than an hour! They were a bit tricky to use and I ended up getting on the incorrect bus!
I really enjoyed visiting the Old Town. This is shown in the featured image. The Old Town includes a large square with many restaurants where you can eat outside. The buildings are very beautiful! The Old Town was completely destroyed during the Second World War. The entire town square was rebuilt to look the same as it did before the war. The buildings look like they were very old! It was great to have lunch in the square with such a pretty view!
