So far on this jourey, I have travelled about 5000 miles!
This week, I mostly rode my bike around Amsterdam, as I usually do. I also took an inter-city train, and took the Amsterdam metro a few times! Amsterdam has a metro and a tram that are both very convenient, but it's still always faster and cheaper to ride your bike most places.
I went to a local farmer's market and bought some delicious fruits and vegetables with my friend. It was great to buy food directly from farmers--some of the carrots even still had dirt on them!
I am currently preparing to travel to Berlin, the capital of Germany, next week, and I'm very excited! I'll have a friend with me for some of the week, but I'll also be traveling solo for the first time for a few days. I can't wait to explore a new country and I'm particularly excited for the new experience of traveling by myself.
