Four days a week, I travel to the university for classes. I walk 1.5 miles and catch the bus to the university, which is another 1.5 miles away. Yesterday, I forgot to bring bus fare for the way back, so I walked the 3 miles home!
I left from Cleveland, Ohio, and traveled to São Paulo, Brazil, which is more than 5,000 miles away. Then, I took a bus from São Paulo to Pato Branco. That's a total of about 5,500 miles!
I usually walk or ride the bus when I want to go somewhere. On Wednesday, I needed groceries, so I walked to the store. It takes longer than a car, but it is excellent exercise.
I did not travel outside Pato Branco this week, but I went to an event at the college. A very famous speaker came to talk about translating books into Portuguese. I was so glad that I could understand him when he spoke Portuguese!
